How to successfully install Windows 98 in a newer Computer?
Since it had very limited driver and software support when it las WAS supported, and required ALL the available downloads just to run a browser and give any kind of USB support (minimal), you are unlikely to get it working correctly if you do install it. There are no longer any update downloads available, so you would be loading a system at best which was almost useless in 2000 without them. And it did not include much in the way of drivers as all equipment was expected to come with its' own 98 drivers. Even loading it on a machine it was designed for would leave you with a useless machine without the support packages.
