What kind of remedies can get sticker burrs out of your skin?

My poor 3 yr. old daughter fell & skidded right into a patch of sticker burrs! I'VE even got one stuck in one of my fingers! I've tried tweezers, but they STILL won't come out! HELP!!! :-)
