Is it safe to take antibiotics while feeding?

I currently feed my 15 month old son. Yesterday I was put on an antibiotic to treat bronchitis/sinus infection. Will this hurt my son? I have not been on antibiotics for years, but I needed one this time because I got quite ill and my fever would not subside.
