Best DVD burning/backup software?

I have purchased many dvds throughout the years, but some of the older ones just aren't playing right anymore due to scratches, and other marks. Due to this I want to start backing up my dvds. I have tried out dvd srink, 1click dvd copy, dvd fab, anydvd and they don't seem to get what I need done. I don't want to be required to manually download something to get around the css I want to come in the program. The reason I say that is because dvd's keep getting new codes put on them (example is the new sonys), so I want a program that will update through them.
