Can someone explain what this means..?

everyone tells my partner I am an attractive girl.recently i have been working out, gained curves and have had extensions added in my short blonde hair...my partner constantly makes jibes at my fake hair and bigger behind. yet everyone says I look great. he also undermines me by trying to catch other womens attention and smiling...why does he do this?
