What's a good book to take on a long airplane trip?

I'm flying for a few hours next week, any great books you've read that you would recommend for the flight? I enjoy either mysteries (but not gory details) or romance (Nicholas Sparks-ish, not raunchy -descripted) novels. Any ideas? Thanks!
