How do I get my roommates son to stop stealing my food?

I am a roommate in a household with a man and his teenage son. They own the house and I pay rent. I have lived here for 3 years and for the most part everything has been fine but I have had this problem since I moved in. We share the kitchen and I have 2 cupboard shelves for my pantry items. There have been countless times where I would go into the closet where my food is and I can tell that things have been taken. I bought my first snowboard over the summer and have been dying to use it. I ended up getting a really good deal on a Ride 165cm Fleetwood (All Mountain - Wide). All summer its been there and the closer it gets to my first day on the mountain the more worried I am that I bought it too big. I'm 6'0 about 210lbs and wear a size 11 boot. I'm a begginner that can go down greens steadily without falling (most of the time). I don't know if this even matters but i'm fairly athletic. I didn't have the key to my house and I was too embarred to tell my friend or her mom about my situation so that they could let me borrow some underwear or buy me some, so I decided to secretly steal a pair of my friend's panties each morning while she was in the shower and then put them into the laundry basket in her room the next day and steal another pair. This worked fine for about two weeks until I heard her complaining to her mom that she didn't have enough clean underwear. I realized I couldn't steal any more underwear from my friend because I was afraid it would draw more attention so I was forced to steal underwear from her older sister. That worked fine for a week but then one morning I thought everyone was either downstairs or in the shower so I snuck into my friend's sister's room, took off my pj pants, took off the underwear I'd been wearing, threw it in the laundry basket, opened her dresser up and took the pair of underwear that was at the very bottom so she wouldn't notice. I put on the underwear and was about to put my pj pants back on when my friend's sister walked in. She just froze as she saw me standing there with her dresser open and my pj pants on the floor as I stood there in a white t-shirt and her lime green underwear. I'm like never gonna be able to go to my friend's house again! And now like all my friends and family know about this and everyone's laughing at me!!!!

For a few months, I've tried to get rid of these pimples in my face. Most of the pimples reappear in the T-zone area, especially in the chin area. I don't have serious acne, but a minor one. It's driving me nuts because I've tried a bunch of different techniques, yet I have not found the ultimate solution to zap those zits. I wash my face twice each day with salicylic acid 2%, stayed away from oily based food, tried to not touch the areas easily affected, even tried the benzyol peroxide prescribed from a doctor (that didn't work because I'm allergic to the cream and get red blotches on my skin). I've tried using toothpaste, garlic (smelly, only if it had work), tea tree oil, almost everything that I found on net that seems to be the ultimate solution to get rid of the zits, does anyone have any other suggestions that have worked for you or share your experiences?

Could this be Swine Flu?

There have been 2 swine flu cases in my school and 8 others in my town. I don't think I've come into direct contact with any of these people but last night i had a pretty bad fever (about 102-103). That just started around 1 o'clock in the after noon and got worse after time. I had a motrin at 11 PM and when I woke up my fever was gone. I have a slight cough and a slight headache, but nothing serious. Could this be swine flu or am I worrying about nothing?

I have a 10 year old TB mare who has raced and hunted and obviously not been taught correctly. She goes fab on flat work and really enjoys jumping and clears big jumps, but its the speed she goes into them at !! I initially declared CIS (computer information systems) as my major, but I don't know if it's the way I want to go after the first cles I took. I liked my intro to programming cl (using visual basic). I got a 96 in the cl. But I just don't know if it's the way I want to go. I've always had a high interest in computers and think that I would really like the networking cles and advanced programming cles, but I just don't know if my heart is truly in it for CIS. I had to take an accounting cl (practical accounting) and I also got a high A in that class, and really enjoyed it too. It had to do with accounts payable, ledger accounts, general journals, financial statements...everyday accounting stuff. I think I may want to venture the accounting way. It seems exciting. CIS major would seem like you would be at the desk all the time? What are your thoughts on the two majors? It's difficult to find a job after getting your degree in CIS is it not? I hear some people don't get a job pertaining their major for years since experience is as important as your degree? How difficult is it to find a job (good?) for an accounting major? What are the ups and downs of each? Which ultimately will do me financially better? Technology field always seems to be in demand, is it the same for accounting majors? Is there a lot of jobs available? Both provide good opportunities as far as I know. Best DVD burning/backup software?

I have purchased many dvds throughout the years, but some of the older ones just aren't playing right anymore due to scratches, and other marks. Due to this I want to start backing up my dvds. I have tried out dvd srink, 1click dvd copy, dvd fab, anydvd and they don't seem to get what I need done. I don't want to be required to manually download something to get around the css I want to come in the program. The reason I say that is because dvd's keep getting new codes put on them (example is the new sonys), so I want a program that will update through them.

Guinea Pig has sore-looking and red back foot pads?

Hi. I have a 1 year old female guinea pig; Hamlette. Ive had her most of her life, and I have always noticed that the long pads on her back feet (normally pink and hairless) are a little red, and look like they could be sore. It doesnt seem to hurt her, but I dont speak Pig. She lives in a 9 ft2 homemade c&c cage with a fleece bottom and paper towel underlay. I wash the fleece often. I dont know if its just the acid from her urine, as she tends to sit right on top of where she pees, but there is nothing I can do about where she wants to sit. It is not severe enough to take her to a vet, but I would if it got worse. Is there anything I can change about her cage, or any easy medications I can use? Or is it normal for her back pads to be a little red? She is very active, and loves to run and popcorn around her cage a lot, could this just be like rug-burn?

Yep I do it all the time! =) You can use sage, rosemary, oregano.. all these work good instead of thyme. Usually thyme is one of the more prominent herbs.. you should have been able to find it at your local grocery store. But yeah, any of those other herbs go good with chicken! =)

Abusive gym teacher??....?

25 years ago i had a verbally abusive gym teacher. She did nothing for our cl and was found by our principal one day sleeping on the field when our cl was supposed to be playing soccer outside. I am not sure how she kept her job. She seemed to make more of an effort the next year, but as a teacher and a person I still think she was pathetic. She particularly disliked my sister and I because we were shy and had poor social skills (we came from an alcoholic background) and not much experience in athletics. We were poor as well. Socially I suppose she behaved like one of the students. Joining in on the nasty jokes children say to unpopular kids. Although I am an adult now she made my life which was hellish harder and added to my daily burden. I have thought periodically about mailing her a letter letting her know that. I have just found her on facebook. I know she may well have changed her ways and that it was a long time ago. As we remember those that did their job well with us when we were young and vulnerable we remember those who had a negative impact on us too. I have thus worked for a school for twenty years with students and I particularly help those that are awkward. It is EASY to deal with those that are competent and self ured but it is my job to take care of all the students, particularly the ones that need help the most. That is where I get my greatest satisfaction. I would like to tell her that. I am not sure. Anyone had an experience where you have done this??? good or bad??

I couldn't agree more. This Mafaaz automatically making it to the Derby because of one win and your in is the most ridiculous thing I ever heard. And with our horses working so hard to qualify to make it to the Derby, it is just unfair to them and the connections that work so hard to get them there. It should be a fair playing field for every entry. This is making an exception for a horse that probably should not be any where close to Kentucky. Since the Derby began there have been very strict rules to gain entry to the race. Some very good horses have not been able to get in because of the slightest technicality, and this horse gets in because of a promise to win one race. If he should win, IMO it would be a travesty.
